Who pays GunBroker compliance fee?

Bidders/buyers are charged only a small Compliance Fee upon purchase of an item. Persons whose registration information is flagged as suspicious by our fraud prevention systems may be charged a $2.00 fee to go through a detailed security check.

Can you get scammed on GunBroker?

All of our auctions use the 15 Minute Rule. If a user places a bid within 15 minutes of the scheduled end date/time, the auction automatically switches into a special mode analogous to the “going, going, gone” of a live listing. When 15 minutes have passed with no bidding activity, the listing ends.

Does GunBroker take commission?

Basic listings on GunBroker.com are free of charge until the item sells. We do not charge insertion fees to create a listing, and we do not have recurring membership fees. When the item sells, we charge a final value fee that is based on the selling price of the item.

How much is sales tax on GunBroker?

Buyer’s sales tax is 8\%. Gunbroker will bill YOU, the seller, for the final value fees PLUS 80 dollars in sales tax. When you invoice the buyer, that sales tax is included in the total, so you charge the buyer, gunbroker charges you, gunbroker sends the money to the buyer’s state.

Does GunBroker charge sales tax in Texas?

GunBroker.com will calculate and add the applicable sales tax to each order being shipped to a GunBroker.com MPF State. The buyer will pay the seller the Order Total Payable, which includes the sales tax.
