Jesus tells us in the gospel of Matthew that the first and greatest commandment is to love God with all our hearts, souls, and minds. The Greek word for “love” is the verb “agapao”.

Why you should have God in your life?

He frees us from being slaves to sin. God frees us from the bondage of sin by breaking the strongholds in our lives and bringing us out of the darkness. As we seek the life God intended, a life as a kingdom citizen, we need to humble ourselves before God and regularly acknowledge our need for Him.

Who took God’s grace granted?

The offence of Moses was that he took God’s grace for granted. The soul that sinneth it shall die’; ‘My little children, sin not,’ Apostle John warned, ‘but if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father’. Yes, confess your sins to Him now and leave them.

Why should we always trust God?

God knows everything we are going through at this very moment and everything we will go through in the future. He knows the best way to handle every situation so we get the best possible outcome and we need to trust him with that. We need to follow his path and trust that he knows best, because he does.

Do you not take God’s blessings for granted?

Do not take the Lord’s grace for granted by continuing with the same attitudes, desires and carnal actions you first came to Him with. Instead, let that grace transform you bit by bit every day.

Do you not take God’s mercy for granted?

We fall so short of the glory of God. We fail Him and tread upon mercy more frequently than we walk worthy. Grace is always grace and God is always gracious to His own. But His own ought not take that grace for granted.

Can God forgive me for taking grace for granted?

God can forgive mankind’s sins, and Jesus is the reason. Not only pain for you and those around you, but also the pain it’ll cause God our Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ. Neither salvation, life in the age to come, nor forgiveness should ever be taken for granted.
