Do LED light bulbs interfere with WiFi?

All electrical devices, including LED lighting, emit electromagnetic radiation. However, the field generated by an LED light is not strong enough to cause interaction with WiFi or TV. On odd occasions the unshielded wires can produce a weak electromagnetic field, that might cause disruption.

How do I stop LED lights from interfering with my TV?

Here is a list of possible solutions that we are aware of:

  1. Use a quality LED bulb.
  2. Change the transformer to one with better EMI suppression, such as our Verbatim LED transformer.
  3. Shorten the cable length, and if possible use a shielded cable.
