The stock Epiphone die-cast tuners work surprisingly well already but it’s always worth upgrading if you have the budget. The most ideal upgrade would be a set of locking tuners. Grover, Hipshot, Gotoh, and Graph Tech has a tons of options that are ideal upgrades if your Les Paul has the die-cast stock tuners.
