Please note that for accounts under $100,000, we will sell all individual stocks you transfer into Wealthfront and replace them with ETFs, with the exception of those that are at a short-term gain. We’ll hold those stocks until they’re at a long-term gain or a loss.

Is it easy to take money out of Wealthfront?

There are two ways to withdraw funds and close your account: you can liquidate your account and transfer the cash to your bank account on file, or you can transfer out in-kind to another institution. Once you request a full withdrawal we’ll automatically close your account.
