For a professional kind of cleaning in your own home, you can either have it washed or dry cleaned. Roman blinds must be hand washed and brushed only, and putting them in the machine can lead your fabrics to wear off and your blinds to be destroyed.

Steam clean There are Roman blinds that are best off steam cleaned, as they don’t react well to any more moisture. You can use a steam cleaner while the blinds are still up on the window, but be gentle with the fabric, as you don’t want to scald the material or saturate it with too much water.
