Can 2nd year student apply for Ctet?

Ed are eligible to apply for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET). In a latest notification, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has revised the eligibility criteria.

Can I apply for Ctet in B Ed 1st year?

Yes, B. Ed candidates can apply for both CTET Paper 1 and Paper 2.

Can B Ed 1st year student apply for Uptet?

Can I give Ctet before B Ed?

A. No, B. Ed is not compulsory to apply for the CTET exam. However, there is a criterion wherein candidates who have completed graduation with minimum 50 per cent marks and a BEd degree can appear for the CTET exam.

Can I give Ctet only paper 2?

Ans: Yes. Paper I is for candidates who wish to teach classes 1 to 5 and Paper II is for candidates who wish to teach classes 6 to 8. In case candidates wish to qualify to teach classes 1 – 8, they can appear for both the papers in CTET.

What is the difference between paper 1 and paper 2 in Ctet?

The paper is conducted in offline mode as a pen-and-paper-based test. ​Paper 1 consists of 5 sections while Paper 2 consists of 4 sections. Paper-I will be conducted for candidates who wish to be teachers for Classes I to IV. Paper-II will be conducted for candidates who wish to be teachers for Classes VI to VIII.

Who can sit for Ctet?
