Can you use Systema in UFC?

UFC is a sport and the likes of systema and krav are more reality based. Sports styles have rules to protect the fighters, where as in reality based situations there are no rules. Meaning many of their techniques would not be permitted in a UFC bout.

Yes, Systema can be good for self-defense and real fighting if it is taught as such (with a focus on self-defense). Systema is very much like Krav Maga in that the end game is to decimate the attacker/opponent at all costs. Systema’s techniques are focused around combat.

Systema is the better option. The primary difference between them is that krav maga is tactical and focuses on step by step moves, which also makes it a very knowledge based martial art where you would have to know techniques properly for each situation.

There will be no fighter in MMA using Systema in its entirety, the art is self defense only, but there are some MMA fighters that use some of the principles of fighting, also I know some fighters have trained in Systema punches, more commonly known as ballistic striking.
