Is it worth it to go to college?

Just about everywhere you go, people tell you “Go to college! Get a degree! Don’t quit! It’s worth it!” Don’t listen to them! It’s not worth it. At least it wasn’t for me. I wasted five years of my life going to college, and it’s my biggest regret in life.

In summary, my time in college has enriched my life in many ways. It has provided me with the necessary tools to enhance my skills more, taught me valuable knowledge about this diverse world and people and concepts in general and eventually will enable me to hopefully become more successful in life when I finally graduate and get my degree.

Is it better to live close to home or away for college?

Sometimes, though, staying close to home for college is not all it’s cracked up to be. For one, living nearby means that your parents will be able to visit frequently and will likely expect you to do the same, which may potentially be a hindrance as you develop greater independence.
