Is it difficult to marry Badaga?

Yes! Its definitely a tough one. Unlike other inter caste marriages, marrying a badaga and getting used to their culture and system is difficult. Badaga is a community and there is no acceptance for other people(non badagas).

The Badagas are classified as Backward Class in Tamil Nadu through constitutional orders. The 1901 census classified them as tribals and the 1911 census denoted Badagas as Hindu animist tribals having a tribal mother tongue.
