What is a whole brain thinker?
Whole Brain® Thinking means being able to fully leverage one’s own preferences, stretch to other quadrants when necessary, and adapt to and take advantage of the preferences of those around you to improve performance and results.
What is the Whole Brain Model?
Developed by Ned Herrmann, Whole Brain® Thinking divides the brain into four quadrants. Each quadrant represents a different part of the brain: Analytical, Practical, Relational, Experimental. While everybody has these quadrants, it advocates that we all have a preferred way of thinking without even realizing it.
Why is whole brain thinking important?
Whole Brain® Thinking gives us the ability to make better, more balanced, decisions – having multiple perspectives on the possible outcomes of any action is more likely to take into account how that action will affect a range of different people.
What are the benefits of whole brain thinking?
Whole Brain Thinking® introduces a common vocabulary that allows for ideas and information to be shared and more importantly, understood, by everyone without the chance of being misunderstood. By revealing the HBDI profile for individuals, we gain insight into the way that they understand information.
Why does the whole brain think?
Whole Brain® Thinking will change how you view your own thinking preferences and show how you can relate more effectively to those around you. Because thinking influences everything you do, you must understand your thinking to apply it for better productivity, communication, collaboration and innovation.
