The rooms are alloted to the students according the year in which they are studying in and their percentage for the first year and cp for the coming years. There are ample of hostel seats available for ug students so there is no need to go for Pg, even if it is required there are some pg’s nearby costing 6-7 k per month.
How is the hostel life at VIT University for new students?
The hostel rent is included in the semester fee. There is no special fee paid for hostel.There is wifi facility in the hostel. The campus life is very busy. There is 9-10 subject in each semester. There is farewell party for new coming students. There is good lab facilities in the campus.There is no discrimination between each other.

About 20 hostels are there including bpth boys and girls,both dormitory and cubical is available,dormitorys are mostly 3 people sharing rooms.every hostel has its canteen and mess and common room which has tv tt board and other indoor games,many hostels also have its own basketball court,badminton court etc
What are the hostel rooms like at NITS?
The hostel rooms are okay, as one can expect from a government institute. For boys hostel 4 girls share a common room whereas for boys there is dual sharing. There is a coomon washroom for 3 no of rooms on each floor.
