Can any cooler work with any CPU?

When taking CPU sockets into account, most coolers — air or water — are compatible with all sockets on Intel and AMD platforms. Older products will not be compatible with AMD’s new AM4 socket without an optional bracket, but some coolers have been released with out-of-the-box support.

Will a CPU cooler fit in my case?

Measure from the top of the CPU’s heat spreader to the side of the case. (yes, you’ll have to remove the stock cooler to do so.) But I can tell you from experience with that case, it is quite narrow. Not many tall aftermarket coolers will fit.

Are liquid CPU coolers Universal?

Yes but with caveats. A CPU cooler basically transfers heat from the CPU to the air that flows through your case. It can do this regardless of branding on the CPU. A caveat is that the mounting setup can change between CPU brands and sometimes even between generations of hardware.
