Does IISc have hostels?

IISc Hostel Indian Institute of Science, one of the premier research institutes of India, is a fully residential institute. There are many independent hostel blocks, some of which are for ladies and some for gents. These hostel blocks together can house about 3000 plus students who stay on campus.

NISER is offering integrated M.Sc., integrated PhD & PhD courses. There are 9 independent hostel blocks, some of which are for ladies and some for gents. Some of hostels are single occupancy and some are double occupancy. Each hostel can accomodate about 200 students.

Is there any reservation for girls in IISc?

We specially encourage women to apply. We strongly welcome candidates belonging to reserved categories. Reservation as per Government of India rules, as applicable to IISc, will be followed. Is there any quota for single girl child in JEE?

Female applicants are eligible to apply under the Women Quota System or All India Level, a majority of reserve 5\% of seats for female students. There are colleges which proffer relaxation to female candidates in terms of percentage basis. For female PWD student, the relaxation will be granted a further 3\%.
