Does weight lifting help with fighting?

Yes. Lifting weights makes you stronger and better balanced. All of that gives you better coordination. That makes it EASIER to learn fighting techniques and combinations.

Can skinny guy fight?

It all depends on the fighter. Some skinny people can pack a punch, while others can have incredible stamina. But not everyone is the same. Some may benefit from carrying less weight around, while others may find that being fairly heavy can become a disadvantage.

Do you need a spotter when lifting heavy weights?

When lifting heavy weights, especially free weights, you could easily get pinned under a weight in some exercises if you could not complete the exercise movement. That’s why it’s a good idea to have a training partner. A spotter assists and protects the person lifting from injury.
