The current laws governing naturalization (Ley 346, Ley 23.059, and Decreto 3.213/84) set forth very simple requirements:

  1. be 18 years old or older;
  2. have been living in Argentina for 2 years; and.
  3. apply for naturalization before a federal judge.

How long does it take to get Argentinian citizenship?

The process takes between 12 to 18 months (1 year, 1 year and a half), after this period of time you will receive the citizenship letter. After which you must go to the RENAPER to find your new DNI which will have a new numbering (since it goes with the numbering of Argentine citizens).
