How do you keep track of monster stats in D&D?
Here’s what I did until recently:
- photocopy monster pages from the Monster Manual.
- make notes on a piece of paper with each monster type’s AC and hit points.
- write initiative on the piece of paper, and write a note for each monster in the battle to track their specific hit points.
