Both KDP and IngramSpark require a high resolution PDF file for upload to create your paperback book. While it’s true you can upload word documents, we don’t recommend it. It’s always best practice to provide a PDF for print books. The same interior file can be used for both KDP and IngramSpark.

Does KDP and Barnes and Noble use same ISBN?

ISBNs cannot be reused once they are assigned, so an ISBN cannot be used with your B&N Press print book if it already is assigned to a book that is on sale through wide distribution. Do keep in mind that an ISBN does NOT mean your book is copyrighted.
