Why would I want to use Oracle JDK?

The reason you may want to use Oracle JDK is that you may want to run older software (we have some stuff that requrire a Java 6 JRE, and while we hate it and want it gone, we can’t just throw away years worth of development using that stuff), and have updates for a long time.
