What is RTI query?

How can RTI query be raised?
An applicant who desires to obtain any information under the RTI Act can make a request through this Web Portal to the Ministries/Departments of Government of India. On clicking at “Submit Request”, the applicant has to fill the required details on the page that will appear.
How does the RTI work?
RTI Request is filing application for the first time. Request is made by the citizen to one person (i.e. PIO) to provide information. This means that it involves only the citizen and PIO. This means RTI request is application process while RTI appeal is appellate procedure against decision on RTI application.
