Physical Standards for JAG Entry (a) Height & Weidht: The minimum acceptable height and weight for men is 157.5 cms with correlated weight and for women candidate is 152 cm and 42 kg. For women candidates the minimum acceptable visual acuity are Distant Vision(corrected) better eye 6/6.

How do you qualify for JAG?

Candidates must have minimum of 55\% aggregate marks in LLB Degree (three years professional after graduation or five years after 10+2 examination). The candidates should be eligible for registration as an advocate with Bar Council of India/State.

How difficult is it to become a JAG officer?

The initial JAG training can also be difficult for attorneys with families. Training begins with approximately six weeks of officer training focused on leadership skills and military tactics and then approximately ten weeks of JAG school (Marine JAG training is significantly more rigorous).
