Is GEDmatch the most accurate?
Gedmatch is not more or less accurate than 23andMe or Ancestry. When it comes to your Ethnicity Estimate (AncestryDNA) or Ancestry Composition Report (23andMe), these are more accurate when it comes to researching your recent ancestry than the Gedmatch Admixture calculators.

In July 2020, the GEDmatch database was breached by hackers. As a result of this incident, the privacy controls on millions of user accounts were overridden.

GEDmatch is a free DNA analysis website that allows raw DNA data to be uploaded and matched with other users. They accept GEDCOM data file uploads and raw data files (a text file) from several genetic DNA testing companies, including: AncestryDNA. 23andMe.
How do I find my GEDmatch relatives?
Similar to how GEDmatch lets you find relatives in their DNA database by matching segments of your DNA to theirs, you can check if your parents were related by looking for segments of your own DNA that matches itself. You have two copies of each chromosome, one from each parent. and can compare them to each other.
The GEDmatch “Are Your Parents Related Tool” looks for an area with at least 200 snips in a row that are the same between your two chromosomes. It’s also looking for that segment to be at least seven centimorgans long, which would indicate homozygosity.
