Yes! You may still assign a recommender to your colleges after you submit your application. To do this, just follow these steps. If the recommender has already submitted their recommendation to another school, it will be sent immediately to the college that you just assigned them to.

Your school/teachers may submit their materials after the deadline. We are much more flexible and understanding with teachers and schools. Your recommendations do not need to be in our office by January 1. They can arrive and be processed well after this date and you will still be fine.

Be sure to add the requests to your applications before you submit. That way when your recommenders complete the recommendations, the colleges will have access to them.

As long as you have assigned the letter to your schools and LSAC receives it before the application submission deadlines, LSAC will forward the letter to your schools.

AMCAS does not need your letters of evaluation to verify your application. Therefore, you may submit your application even if your letters have not yet arrived at AMCAS. Letters that arrive at AMCAS after your application has been processed will be forwarded to schools on a rolling basis.
