Definitely you can apply for Phd post your completion of MCA. There are two way one by qualifying GATE or NET scores to apply for PhD at a university in India. Along with a valid qualifying score, you must also prepare a research thesis. If want to apply for a PhD abroad, then you will have to qualify GRE.
