Sometimes it’s 1 or 2 cents more favorable on base, but not often. It’s been my experience that automobile gasoline is no longer “cheaper” on military bases than it is out in the civilian economy. In fact, I’ve found it to be 2 or 3 cents, even 5 cents more expensive, per gallon, than outside of the base.
