Are government agencies above the law?
Patrick Jaicomo. IJ launched our Project on Immunity and Accountability earlier this year to defend a simple principle: Government officials are not above the law. If you and I must follow the law, the government and its agents must follow the Constitution.
Is there really no one is above the law?
This means that no person, government official or government is above the law. The following principles are fundamental in preserving the rule of law: All people are ruled by the law. Law enforcers, the government and judges must adhere to the law without bias or prejudice.

Though it is often heard, what does the “Rule of Law” actually mean? At its most basic level, it essentially means no one is above the law— every individual, no matter how wealthy or powerful, is equally subject to the law. This means 57\% of people do not have access to basic legal rights, protections, and remedies.
Why does the government make laws?
The government needs to make rules for everyone in the form of law because by doing so people can obey rule and thus the nation as a whole leads a secure life.
Can the federal government take over a state?
