What are the things you want to unlearn?

Here are 5 things we learned in school that we need to unlearn:

  • FEAR MISTAKES. In school, we lose points for our mistakes.
  • FIT IN. School rewards those who color inside the lines.
  • WAIT FOR INSTRUCTIONS. In school, we have to wait for instructions and do as we are told.
  • LEARN JUST IN CASE.
  • DON’T QUESTION AUTHORITY.

What were the most important things Learnt by the family?

Our family values are a reflection of who we are and how we parent. When we articulate and live those values, our children learn life lessons. They learn to express themselves, solve problems, grow from mistakes, and develop other skills and abilities that lead to fulfilling lives. Parents learn too.

After unlearning being content second most important thing that you need to unlearn is procrastination. We are all good procrastinator. We want to delay our work for the next day. If you want to succeed, then you must change this habit.

Why is learning to learn important?

When students can direct their learning and know how they learn best, they can also better navigate the wide range of available choices in school and beyond. Learning to learn is particularly important when teachers are no longer a main source of information and knowledge.
