Unless you actually NEED 1600W or will need it in the future, it’s a no from me. That extra wattage capacity, even if it’s not being used, some of it becomes waste heat, maybe even requiring extra cooling due to heat from power loss. Even the most efficient power supplies expend 10\% or so as waste in the form of heat.
