A Silent Voice is perhaps my third or favorite anime movie ever created. It at first seems like a simple romance movie. And while it is romantic, its also much more than that. To put it simply its a psychological account of the effects of bullying on the bully and the bullied.

So its not a bad movie. silent Voice is much deeper, sure its about a guy who used to be a bully that tries to redeem himself by being nicer to his victim. But its so much more than that. It touches on social anxiety,depression, bullying, self-loathing, suicide, and self-acceptance.
