What are advantages and disadvantages of generics in Java?

Generics in Java

  • Type-safety: We can hold only a single type of objects in generics. It doesn?t allow to store other objects.
  • Type casting is not required: There is no need to typecast the object.
  • Compile-Time Checking: It is checked at compile time so problem will not occur at runtime.

What do you think about the JVM 410?

I recently revisited the JVM 410 with a 4/12 slant cab and a little time to put it through it`s paces. It`s a nice amp it can be dialed in to sound great and the adjustability and channel switching is very useful and neat. That being said, I will stick with my old primitive Marshalls because I really don`t need all the bells and whistles.
